Harvest Night 2019

Harvest Night is  a special program in October designed to assist with Pastoral Expenses. In November, the Holy Convocation is held in St. Louis, Missouri and the leadership of the Church of God in Christ is asked to meet for special services and the General Assembly for the business of the International Church. This year, the night was accented with talent from the members. Dubbed “Show Us Your Talent” night, there were special presentations to spotlight Friendly members and their gifts for the Lord.

The program featured music and song by Deacon Howard Smith and Brother Aston Roper  and Brother Austin Roper each sang a song. The Lord moved in the audience as everyone sang in concert with them. Mother Fitts read an original poem – “We Came” and Little Sister Rachyl Hawkins read the poem – “Footprints”. Sister Nadia Ragland made her debut on the keyboard and Brother Zion Boyd made his debut on the drums – upcoming talent at Friendly. Sister Pauline Williams presented the poem – “The Potato Family”. The program concluded with a dramatic monologue  by Sister Roper – “The Creation”. We will look forward to this as an annual presentation of talent.
